Dear Parishioners,
My first six year term as Pastor ended on August 1, 2011. I am delighted to announce that Archbishop John J. Myers has granted me a second six year term to end on June 30, 2017.
To him I am grateful for his confidence in my abilities. I have been most happy here and thankful for the wonderful support of the parishioners. Your generosity of “time, talent, and treasure” has
made Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish one of the greatest in the archdiocese. I, like the six pastors before me, am only “passing through.” Like them my obligation is to “steward” this beautiful parish well and pass it on to the next generation. Like the pastors before me, I need your continued support to do this. We do this together. We steward Mt. Carmel. We pass it on as a legacy to those after us. Please continue to pray for your pastor. I pray for you and your families daily.
