Prayer Requests
Our Lady of Mount Carmel is pleased to offer the opportunity to request prayers for urgent or ongoing needs. We will attempt to post prayer requests as quickly as possible, but it may take a day or two.
Once posted, prayer requests will remain for as long as space permits.
We must reserve the right to edit Prayer Requests for appropriateness, content and length. We cannot post requests other than in English. Please use first names only.
Do not use all Caps. If your request is not posted, it will have fallen under this policy, and no special notice will be provided.

Let us remember in our prayers all the men and women who serve in our military, and all their families as well.
Charlie - Please pray for my friend Ed to get the job he's going for, and for a job for myself as well.
Mr. V. - I'm asking for your prayers for my Daughter Lisa. She is on the waiting list for a liver transplant, and is very ill. Please help pray with me.
Minnie - Please pray for my sister Cynthia, she has a lot of health problems and will be going for an operation soon. And also for Kay, a dear friend of our family is going for a major lung operation. Please pray that all goes well for both, and that they have a speedy recovery.
Valora - Please pray for my daughter Dawn. She had two operations to remove a cancerous thyroid, and still needs another operation to remove the remains of the thyroid. She also has a spot on her lung, and she has to go for a biopsy because her two lymph nodes may be cancerous as well, and she has to have a complete body scan because there is a possibility that the cancer may have spread to other parts of her body. Please pray for God's loving mercy and healing, that her biopsy and scan show no other cancers, and that it hasn't spread, and that her operation this time is successful. Gloria - Alexandra is 2 yrs. old, and was just recently diagnosed with leukemia. Her Cousin Emily is 5 yrs. old and has seizures, and may also be bi-polar. Please pray for these children, and their family members.
J. B. - That God heals all my family, mentally, physically and spiritually. So many of them, young and old, are seriously ill and truly suffering, and many of them are spiritually lost, and don't even realize it.
Anonymous - For Barbara, who is dying of cancer. We never know what the will of God will be, so I ask you to ask God that His will be merciful. Thank you all, and God bless you all.

San - Dear Brothers and Sisters, Please pray for my dear friend Kenneth Mendoza. He is ill of brain cancer. Right now he will be treated with a new method of chemo/radiation therapy. He has already undergone 3 surgeries. Please help us all pray that his body will respond positively. He has pain all over his body, his nerves, eyes, and toothaches as well. Doctors say he can't have his tooth removed. Can you help me ask Jesus to remove the pain in his tooth? It will help him feel better somehow... Thank you Brothers and Sisters... I know how gracious and merciful God is. I know He will respond.. Can you please also pray for his spiritual strength? He is very down..and it's understandable... Janoah - I have this rash and swelling that has started occurring and after a while it subsides. I'm not sure the cause of it, but I pray God heal me of it. It's very recent that I have had this. I pray it is just a test God has put for me to experience His healing and to call me back to Him.
Lynette - Please pray that my depression is uplifted from me and that I get my family back, husband and 2 daughters. I cannot go on like this.

Pat - Please pray that my sister will be able to have treatments to remove the blockage leading to her brain and that she will be freed from this problem, and that the treatment will be simple. Pray that she will be able to come home on the 16th of April as planed.

Vinny- I'm asking all my brothers and sisters in the Lord to please pray for Sal. Sal will be having a major operation on his eyes, and there is a 50% chance that he can go blind. Plus there are other sad and misfortunes going on in his life. Please pray for him.
Robert - Return to mental health.
F.B. - For my nephew Leo who recently lost his sobriety after being sober for over a year- that God restore sobriety to him very quickly and heal him of all major health problems, and help him to be sober for the rest of his life. Lila - My husband David of 24 yrs left me in October for another younger woman who has 3 children. One I do not believe this is a moral environment to raise and teach these children. He now wants a divorce and by GOD's will I pray and ask in HIS name that the divorce be stopped and that David repents and returns to GOD's path, and then to me and our marriage.
May - Please include me in your prayers that God will bless me financially that could sustain my needs, my family needs, and to my studies especially now that there are some concerns of my work stability. As well to my workmates that, may the good Lord in heaven will bless them financially and to their families. May the good lord in heaven will allow are company to be renewed in our work or business transaction.
Isabel- For an innocent boyfriend incarcerated. And faith for an inmate.
N - Please pray for the H family whose daughter has been missing for four years and the suspect has been lying and taunting this family all this time. Police are about to close the case which means this desperate family will never know what happened to their beautiful daughter. Please pray that our Lord will send them the miracle they so desperately need as time is running out and pray that the police will find the evidence they need to bring this person and the evil doers who are covering for him to justice.
Mok- For more than ten years and despite my fervent daily prayers, I have nil business success. This adverse situation causes severe financial hardship for me and my family. I beg our Lord for full forgiveness and to permit me to re-succeed in my business and also to restore my financial position on an urgent basis. Please do pray with and for me to have our Lord accede to our prayers. Thank you very much and God bless.

Anonymous - Please pray for a dear friend of mine, her name is Kay, she just had her Pet Scan for lung cancer and this Thursday she will find out if every thing went well. I want to thank ever one for there prayers.

Marilyn - Gregory K. is a young teenage boy suffering from childhood cancer. Gregory will be operated on tomorrow morning; they are trying to alleviate his pain and save his life. Other then that, there isn't anything more they can do for him. But nothing is impossible with God, nothing! Please pray for him believing that God will heal him, and he will be healed! Although the police know who is responsible for this innocent girl's disappearance, they are about to close the case for lack of enough evidence which means this desperate family will never know what happened to their beautiful daughter. Please pray that our Lord will send them the miracle they so desperately need as time is running out and pray that the police will find the evidence they need to bring this person and those who are covering for him to justice, according to God's Will. Susan - I'm in need of prayer for a dear friend, Joe, our sexton/trumpet player at our church's regular Wed. night Bible Study. Joe is in his seventies, and was taken to the ER today. I don't know right now what the main problem is, but please ask the Lord to restore Joe's health and strength, and to protect him tonight and tomorrow, especially if he needs surgery, and to please not take him away from us just yet, his dear wife and family need him, and so does his Church.

Bimlesh- I have huge mortgage. I cannot see any promotion for myself. At times I use my money wrongly (not uncleanly) which means my money is wasted unwisely. I need money in my off-set account so that I can start paying off the interest and a bit of the principle. Please Lord help me, show me the way.

Irene - My family like many others in this economy is suffering financial hardship but we have faith and pray God will guide us, please pray that he does.
Reizcel - I'm asking for your blessing to grant my prayer request that my work application as an Au pair for Denmark will be consider, and hoping I'll be hired. I already got a call last June 20th from an employer. I'm asking our God's power that the family who called me will decide to choose me as their Au pair, and I promise if they will hire me, I'll give my loving service to take good care of their child. The mother told me that she will send me an e-mail about their family. I'm hoping and wishing to receive this e-mail so I could get in touch with them easily. Thank you for listening to my prayer. Maria - Please help me pray for my grandmother, her name is Maria she is in the hospital and in very critical condition, she had to have her colon removed and has an infection in her stomach. She is very old and very delicate, the doctors have her intubated and it is not looking very good. Please help me pray that she come out of this ok and get better soon. Thank you Amen.
Charles - Help me pray that God will bestow His divine upon my family as my wife, Ijeoma is getting close to the 9th month of her pregnancy; May the Lord bless her and the baby with good health and safe delivery to the glory of God, amen. 1. Year 2009 is very bad for us. We get a lot of financial shortage, problems etc. actually we started our family life here in Saudi since 2008. Now this 2009 is going to finish and again a new 2010 is arriving. I hope many pending issues will be clear. Fist of all please pray for a good upcoming year.
2. We where blessed with a baby girl last January 09. As of now she is completing ten months. But now a days she is getting sick always. Her ears always in pain with itching. Some time she is getting fever also. Myself and my wife are getting a lot of tension while our baby getting sickness. So please pray for our baby that she be a healthy baby, and give her a good new year.
3. As mention above, on this 2009, we get a lot of financial shortage of our life. Our salary are very low and everybody got good salary increment expect myself and my wife. We are praying and fasting a lot. But nothing show up. Due to financial shortage, we had cancel our vacation of 2009. We are looking not for a high salary increment or bank saving, at least meet our daily requirements even partially. We are the only supporter to our both family members at India. So please pray for a good year to come. Pray for this coming year 2010, that solve our all finical shortages and salary increments.
4. We are planning to go on vacation coming June 2010. Please pray for our vacation, we are planning to baptize our daughter on this vacation. Pray for a good vacation without any accidents or problems.

1. We had book a car in India through Bank Loan. But I have to pay 140,000 Indian Rupee as a down payment. I will arrange it with my friends but I am planning to go vacation on coming June 2010. I have to pay back this all amount. No Problem, my 10 months retro money is pending with our company. If I will get all my pending salary, I could pay this all credit and have a peaceful vacation. I am waiting for my salary since last ten months. So please pray for my company management that release my all pending salaries and pray for who is working against this activities. I pray to give us forgiveness in our hearts so that we may forgive each other and accept each other as husband and wife, and to unite us again with the will of God. To fill my wife and our married life with your Holy Spirit, to wash and cleanse my wife with the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray to help my wife and make a way for her to come back to me as soon as possible, and to purify our relationship and our marriage.To remove all the anger and hatred which my wife is carrying against me, and to remove all the thoughts of separation and divorce from her heart and mind, and for her Parents and all her relatives who are against me and my parents, that don’t want me to be with my wife, and are forcing my wife to get separated from me. I Pray for all of these people and others who are against me and my marriage to be filled with Holy Spirit, Lord Jesus wash them with your Precious Blood. Take complete control of their hearts and mind. Guide them my Master. Give them a loving Heart to love me and accept me as her husband. Lord grant them salvation lord, that they might turn from their evil motives and action, and stop doing evil activates against me and my marriage. Lord Jesus my master do not let any human being separate me and my wife. Jesus my master I truly rely on your word- "Mark 10:6-9". Lord you are the witness of my marriage. Malachi 2:14, Lord my master you are the covenant of my marriage. Lord my master, you were there when I and my wife made marriage vows’, I don’t want any human judgment to fall on me or on my marriage for you are my lord and my savior for you are the witness of my marriage. Unite Me and My wife again. Jesus my Master, fill my wife with your life giving word and help her to live a Christian life and to obey and respect you and our marriage vow which she made in your presence. Make my wife the wife you want her to be. Lord guide my wife and bring her to the right path Jesus I pray for you Divine Mercy on me and my wife. lord, make a way for me to communicate with her, and let her respond to it. Lord Jesus please change my wife mind, please bless her with Salvation so that she understands her mistakes and come back to me as soon as possible. Lord Jesus my master, have mercy on me and my wife and unite us as soon as possible. Lord Jesus enter into my Wife’s heart today and fill her with your Gift of Salvation and help her to know and accept you as her lord and savior. Lord Jesus have mercy on my married life, please lord protect my marriage with your precious blood. I only rely on you my Lord and my savior, for nothing is impossible with Jesus. John 15:7 - God my heavenly father, I rely on your promise and I have full confidence in your word. Isaiah 55:10-13 - God My father I completely rely on you to restore my marriage. Lord Just say a word and my marriage will be restored. Lord give us all what we require to lead a good married life together with Jesus our Lord and Savior. I pray in Jesus Name. Amen. JT - Just want to say thank you for my many blessing this past year. And ask for you to pray for my family: My 5 month old son who is an absolute blessing. Please watch over him and his health and continue to make me smile. May he grow up to be a smart responsible boy who respects has good morals and values. My husband who is a good man and loves his family. I pray for health, happiness, and that he is safe when he goes to work and returns to us. My mom is a strong woman and deserves a break. 1. First of all, pray for my company HRSD department manager, the man is from India and creating a lot of problem for me. He is not giving my proper salary always holding my salary increment without any problems. I had talk to him many time but he is telling me “if you don’t like, go back to India” my all colleges are getting good salary increment expected me. I have pray a lot but his mentality and behavior is not changing. As of now I have to get a good salary increment instead of that he is giving me very less amount. I have visited today morning to his office and he is talk to me ruff. I am totally upset. Why the man is holding my salary increment and looking for my job. as I heard that he want remove me from my job. I hope may be he want keep some his relatives. I am working very hard and I have a big family member in India for financially support. So please pray for this man, especially he is a Christian. Pray for change his attitude with me, pray for giving me a up gradation and behaving me proper. Also because of this Manager; my supervisor is creating little problem with me. My supervisor was good and very helpful since last 06 years but now a days he is looking for my trouble and I am sure it is advise by the above manager. So urgently pray for this Manager and my Supervisor, pray for change their attitude and clear their mind. pray for stop the intention of removing me from here or creating continue problem for me. Please pray for it.
2. I am planning to go for a vacation from June 26, 2010 after 28 months. Pray for my vacation period as I have few money in my hand and I want to happy with my family at India during my vacation period. Please pray that during my vacation may be the above said Manager will create problem so pray for my job. I want my job permanent, pray for those who are creating problem for me and trying to remove me from here.
3. I have a baby girl, pray for her health and pray for my wife
4. My parents are aged, I am supporting very much them. But I am here very far.. I have only one prayer is that don’t lose my job because I want support my parents till my death. I have a big amount credit due to my sister studies, she is a Nurse and looking for a good change since 1 year. Please pray for her, if God will give her a good job somewhere out of India it will better for my family and I can solve my financial problems soon.

Melody - I ask for everyone to pray for the restoration of me and my ex. Let him be an ex no more. To have God open my ex's eyes and realize that a relationship with me can and will be the happiest thing in both of our lives. Dear Brother and Sister in Jesus Christ, I’m Edwin, a Roman Catholic was in love with a girl name Esther, she is a very good and holy girl. Our relationship lasted for 3.5 years, we both loved each other so much, and our relationship was based on the love of Jesus Christ hence the relationship was pure and holy, we supposed to get married this December 2010 but due to some family problems and misunderstanding between both of us lead to the separation of this relationship. Now she says that she is committed to someone else I don’t know how much this is truth. I still love her and I know she also does the same.
